Barn Conversions

This large barn conversion is an example that was completed by Alastair Stelling in 2013. The project was started using a largely, fallen down barn. This was rebuilt in to a spacious and luxurious home with underfloor heating provided by heat-pump technology.

The walls nearest the camera, up to the patio doors, are original and simply re-pointed as they were in good condition. The rest was in a bad state of repair so was knocked down and rebuilt as a new build with cavity walls. The whole barn was raised in height to give room for two bedrooms, a house bathroom and an en-suite upstairs.
